Message	was still being targeted at sub-$1000. (crosses fingers). And for headwork, speaking strictly of the labor/machining aspect of the cost, my impression is to expect to pay between ~$800-1500 depending on the degree of porting and whether you're getting oversized valves, etc. Note that doesn't include the cost of parts, such as cams, valve springs and lifters.
